How amazing it is what you can do with one line. You describe the picture perfectly but in such a unique way. The colors in the complimenting pictures bring the poem to life. Beautifully done. Thanks for sharing.

-Very nice images, Gypsy, especially the goldfinch.
-Very nice presentation.
-Your notes are appreciated.
-A well written one line haiku with a good topic.
-Effective nature and seasonal imagery.
-I can hear the pause between the bird
on the bough and balancing on a sunbeam.
-Very well done; thanks for sharing it.

Hi Marival, I loved this one line haiku or monostich as it is also known. It states the obvious but paints a lovely picture at the same time. Reading the words just brings it alive. Un besito, Ulla xx

What a lovely picture of a goldfinch. It feels like I can reach out and touch him. Were the pictures from Pinterest? The small poem said it all. Good writing.

Thank you for sharing this one-line poem with us. You said a lot and used a very few words. Goldfinches are really pretty. I see them rarely in our backyard, but once in a while they appear.

Another beautiful and yet simple poem. I loved the vision I had. Just a sweet bird, resting on a branch, bathed in warm sunlight. Beautiful and calming. Thank you. I'm heading into work smiling. Gretchen

A beautiful one line poem about a bird I really like. U our colors are strong, but not overpowering. And they do infact perch like this.
My friend in Florida, see them quite a bit.
Well written.
