This was beautifully and descriptively written! Now I'm in love with the word harbinger thank you! The artwork, the background colours and the font are beautifully combined. It is true when you see a robin you automatically know it is springtime or it is about to be springtime. Amazing poem and skilfully written! Thank you for sharing this piece! Good luck in the contest! Well done on the 575 syllable scheme!

This is really well crafted. The picture is super vivid with the odd texture used and your color background fits really well with it. One of the best spring haikus I have seen in a long time.
Just an FYI, when citing images, I always try to find and list the actual site it came from. Google isn't actually the source (you just used it to find that site) unless you actually used Google AI to create the image.
The one thing I would change is to use a darker, more forest-like green on your text so that it matches the green in your pic. On my phone it shows up more like a tropical/aqua green, which clashes a little.
Thanks for the read,
SS

An excellent entry for the 5-7-5 Writing Prompt. A lovely visual comes to mind when I read this poem. I love robins and look forward to their arrival each Spring. I thought I would be seeing them soon until yesterday happened. We got close to three feet of snow! I guess we keep filling the bird feeders for awhile. Nicely written. Good luck in the contest.

Oh, you really got slammed with snow, Marilyn. I don?t envy you digging out or trying to keep those feeders filled. Thank you for the kind praise of my 5-7-5.

You wrote a great 5-7-5 poem about spring. I think it is a perfect entry for the prompt. You got the syllable count right, and the descriptive words were fun. Thank you for sharing, and best wishes to you.
