they can read people...they know sweetie pie
when someone is good...or bad...and they warm
up to them my beautiful friend...
Jingles knew Maria was different...he felt it when
she touched him...he trusted her...and she him...
I know they use horses to help disabled people...
I miss riding so much...sigh...
I love your poem...and the touching story told...

I used to tell my mom...I could shoot
a person before I could shoot an animal...she would get so mad...

As you know, Australians don't carry guns. The police were badly in injured after they attended a riot over a Bishop being stabbed in his church. 58 cops and 10 cars were smashed. These Assyrians don't belong in our country. More and more Middle Eastern people are pouring into Oz. We have a massive lack of housing and the bloody Govt. let 130,000 of them into Oz. Grrr...😢

Yes, several blind individuals have benefited from such "therapy". I am mobility-challenged at this time, but look forward to riding a horse, if God wills it in the future. Thank you for this heartwarming post.

Hi Jim, Happy Easter. Glad you liked the poem. Of course, you would benefit from Riding for the Disabled. With three carers walking with you, there is nothing to be scared of. The walking of the horse exercises your leg muscles. I don't know your disability, mine is missing my left leg. K xx

I almost lost my left leg, but, Thank God, the doctor saved it! Now I'm learning to stand and do a bit of motion. With some strain, I've gone from a few seconds to over three minutes! Enjoy a wonderful Easter Sunday!

Do you have riding for the disabled? It got me through in the early rehab days.

Thanks for asking. If you mean transportation, I have several options: a regular driver but he charges a lot, the assisted living situation van, but it won't trsvel too fsar, and my niece, who is tryiong to assist as much as ppossible. If you measn horseback riding, I don't know what's available, but as soon as I get a little more standing strength, I will look into it. God Bless

Too long ago my friend; at least 30 years. I think she was in care, after all, she was not able to see, to speak, extremely handicapped. Thanks for reading an hope you are enjoying Easter. K xx

Hi Julie, Our Riding for the Disabled horses go through three months of training e.g. bursting balloons around them, and getting them used to noisy children. Happy Easter Julie. Kay xx
