This is an outstanding free verse poem in my opinion. I particularly enjoyed the touches of alliteration, and the strong imagery. Good luck in the contest. kay

Now that's an interesting bit of free verse with a great twist. I love the last two lines. What a wonderfully written poem. Good luck in the contest!
