Yes dogs love the area where we eat, they are hoping to be thrown some scraps from the table and your poem made me smile here, that dog in the picture thinks he is human, love Dolly x

I'm glad you got a smile from the doggy poem. I wrote for a club post. Benny, my car dog is a treat, keeps me alive. If I nap too long, he barks to wake me up! Love, Kay. XX

What a great loop poem! You nailed what I imagine the mindset of a dog would be. My favorite part is that the dog thinks he's hidden under the table. Wonderful humor. Great entry for the club prompt!

Hi Julie, It was written for a club contest a while ago.
My dog is a care dog, he wakes me up if I nap too long (for his dinner of course!) K xx

Hi Kace, LOL...reminds me of my Dalmatian...
Domino...he wouldn't eat dog food from the day
we can home with him...at 10 weeks old...the first
seven years of his life he ate at McDonalds for
breakfast...it truly is a dogs day everyday...
they tend to rule the house...

I love this poem beautiful you...the picture has me smiling...
very well written you...love much...Linda xxoo

I can so relate to this one, Aussie, and I think that your poem is the perfect entry for the Club Picture This. I have never had a dog that did not do his cleaning up under the table. Of course it's their comfort place. Food falls from the sky there.
I have to ask-- Is this your dog and do you have a cat?
Thanks for sharing this one. I enjoyed it.

Hi Debbie, No, this is a photo for a club. My dog is Benny, a white/apricot old Poodle X with a Maltese.
Valda chose the photo, I think it is Leo her doggie. I used to have 3 cats but I live on a main road and that is a disaster. Love, Kay xx

This is a fun Loop poem Kay, about Leo, (my dog) who does actually like sitting under this table when he's not in his favourite chair. I loved this read, well told, and thanks for participating.
cheers,
valda

This is such a cute loop poem that you have written so well. The picture is darling and makes it easy to feel this pet dog is speaking right to the reader. :-)

Hi Lily, This is a club photo of Leo, the person who runs the club. Thank you for reading. Do you have a dog? K xx
reply by Daylily on 22-Mar-2024
Not any more....but several over the years. Now I just have a kitty. She is a lot of company. I took her in as a skinny stray three years ago. Now she is swell and joyful. Pets are wonderful!

Benny, the dog was asleep, and I was watching the stars. A young, beautifully marked young cat sat on the fence in front of me. She was asking to come in, I wished. Benny hates cats!!

This is a sweet response to the club challenge. I can feel his sense of security. No one can see him and mama will bring him whatever he needs - chops and veggies. No cats allowed!

Hi June, Yes, his name is Leo, he is all legs! Not my dog, belongs to Valda. Thanks for reading. K xx

What a beautiful image! I love the humour in your verse and the way he's looking at you, imagining that he can't be seen. Your loop verse is a joy to read and lifts my day. I'm also dreaming about that scene which I'm sure is shading some glorious Ozzie sunshine beyond:)) A great club entry. Take care Debbie. PS Hope you've had no more trouble from those noisy intruders.

Hi friend Debbie, No, not my dog, it's a club event and was her dog. My boy is an apricot poodle. Thanks for reading Possum. No more intruders so far! love, Kay.

Hi Kay,
This is a good entry for the Picture This club. It is a well done loop poem about the love a dog has for his master and how he shares his life. I like the humor and sincerity in it. I like this big dog hiding from a cat.
Keep writing and stay healthy
Have a great rest of the day and week
Joan

Hello Joan, The photo of the dog belonged to the person who runs the club. He doesn't look so comfortable, wooden chair and he is all legs! Kxx
