This bulldog puppy doesn't look fierce at all. Now, I had a Great Dane who loved everybody, except the mailman. No clue why!!! We had to put him in the basement when it came time for the mailman or he would jump through the front picture window to get to the mailman. Thank you for sharing.

I changed the picture so it looks scary. Helen brought it up too. Now it looks fierce.
Thank you very much, Barbara

This was funny. I've watched videos of dogs tearing up the mail after the postman puts it through the mail slot in the door. I could just see this chubby dog "saving" his family from heinous bills and magazines. Lol. Very cute. Gretchen

Thank you very much, Gretchen. I'm happy you could visualize the scene, that's the purpose of haiku.

The poor postman, I like dogs, though some are not very well trained, this remains the owner's responsibility, as like us, we need to be loved and taught, very well written and presented****kahpot

But that's such a cute puppy!
I'm sorry for the mailman. Our friends ' son was mauled by a dog while working as a mailman. Great way to tell a story with just hints in your poem!

Yes, dogs can be dangerous. When Angelica was a teen, she used to Rollerblade to work, well, part of the way, and sometimes dogs followed her... she was so scared. It also happened riding her bike.
Thank you very much, big sister.

I really liked this poem! I may be biased because my sister had a bulldog like this. :) You did a good job describing it. Thank you for sharing, as always, and best wishes to you.
