This is how wars start, with something petty and trivial and then it escalates. We have problems with barking dogs in our neighbourhood and the owners never want to take responsibility for their nuisance pets. These dogs keep people awake at night. Having good neighbours is important to keep the peace. I sympathise with you as you cannot relax when you have disruptive neighbours who will not take responsibility for their children's behaviour. This woman will have problems with her children breaking the law when they are adults and she will still refuse to take any responsibility.

Why is it sometimes not a surprise that when the kids are irresponsible, so is the parent. What a frustrating experience. I totally liked the solution of keeping the toys that had been used as weapons and thrown over the fence!
A couple suggestions for your consideration:
I was a teacher, and although I didn't teach summer classes I did

four foot deep above ground pool. (four-foot-deep above-ground pool)
hauls back and launches (hauled back and launched. Keep it in past tense.)
