Trump is just a big bully. He admires Putin because he wants America to be the new Russia. I pray he doesn't win. I am just happy, I live in a state where the majority has brains and sees Trump for who he is.

This limerick, Fool's Gold, has the proper formatting and seems to be suggesting that the MAGA maniac is not a good choice to be the president of the free world. If he is somehow elected, I hope he follows Lincoln and Kennedy into the history books, in a similar way.

A well created limerick for the contest. I agree, the two men both have faults, but Trump is unpredictable, although he has let it be known that he admires dictators, and would like to join their ranks. He also has no integrity. It's not great options for US voters. Best wishes for your entry.

That's a damn good picture you got to match your text. Small suggestion: it would look better if it matched the background you chose. I would suggest going for straight white, or if you want, you can make your image transparent. I am just a little hesitant about that suggestion due to the way that your picture is currently feathered at the edges, which can sometimes cause some trouble for the transparency apps. So you might have less trouble with the former option.
Also, because of the triplet beat cadence of a limerick, although you have the right number of syllables, the alignment is currently off for your final line because "biased" has two syllables. This pushes the beats on your last line onto YOU and FORE, instead of where they ought to land in alignment with the natural accents on VOTE and WARNED. One way to fix this is to drop a couple beats from the last line: "When voting, be warned -". I don't really see an alternative since any words that rhymes with "highest" will need two syllables and you would have to change out both "highest" and "biased" to drop a syllable from those lines. Unless you wanted something like "to the one who bids most/to Putin he'll toast", which would give you back the missing beat, and let you leave the last line untouched. Hope this helps.

I enjoyed your well metered Limerick and I think our democracy is more at risk wit Biden than with Trump.
