AMEN!!! Believing Jesus rose from the grave and conquered death does take faith. Belief that He was born in a manger from a Virgin Mother, also requires faith. Thank you for sharing this contest entry with us. Good luck with the contest.

Very deep, it awakens the soul and reminds us to live life with kindness. The end reminds us the spirit does not remain on earth. Instead our bodies may disappear but we will gain our reward in the end.

I hope we, you and I are rewarded, but the fact is when we die, depending on are acceptance of truth and light, we ALL face consequences, which are not necessarily defined as bad things. Good results are also consequences.

Tom, this pious piece of writing depicts not only "the Son God" heroics, but speaks to author's unyielding faith and belief. A well limned bit of poetic sermon that should serve you well in the contest. Good luck. teafor2

Thank you. I've been asked to sermonize a talk re: Grace this wek to the congregation, and have concluded in research I knew so little of it other than, which I place at the dearest of all graces, is but two, as everything I have in life, including the five senses, mortality, an unimaginable body that last for decades, etc., etc akk come from the Grace of God.

Excellent poem for Easter that shows how Christ has risen and new life begins. You have a smooth poetic flow of words that bring forth a spiritual feel. I also like how you tell His story in three verses.

Thank you. By the grace of God, all gifts are given, and we, being mortal, are invited to bathe in His light (grace) to gain eternal life. Grace, I recently concluded is more than the Atonement, it was, is andd shall be everything we are blessed with daily.

I liked the first person direction of this. Bearing witness to the miracle of Christ's rising. This was a perfect Easter poem. Your devotion shined through. Gretchen

This is an awesome life-altering dream set to poetry. Beautifully written and illustrated by a sculpture of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Sending you my best today as always, and my very best wishes for the contest.

Hello Tom,
that's a powerful poem you've written. In a few lines you summed up the whole existence of Jesus on earth. He couldn't have done what he did without a love that is beyond comprehension. Thanks for sharing this. Good luck in the contest.
Blessings,
Tom

A beautiful poem, and you have summarised well the main tenets of the Christian faith in your poem. His birth, life, death, and astounding resurrection. Best wishes for the contest.

The coming Easter in the unconscious has a tendency to make a lot of Christians start thinking back to what they've learned, know, and should be thankful for every day. Thanks for sharing.

You have true feelings for your writing that stand out right away. These days, my reviewing is slow. I am
hibernating. My pain is such that I am taking my aspirin whenever I wake up after fours or more of sleep. I am keeping track of my dosage times. Then, I drink some liquid, eat a pouch of tuna, and crawl under my heated blankets and pads. Off to sleep I go, Karen :-)

for a yearor more after joining FS I was writing two-three or more pieces a day. Since November I likely have less than25. Lost the fervor which I wish I hadn't. I understand where you are.

When I first joined it was in August I started writing and was upset I could only post two a day. Now, if my body would cooperate I would still do it.:-)
