Oh my!!! Yes, true love can conquer even seven seas, rolling hill, and wonder lust. Once again, your presentation was perfect. Thank you for sharing this with us.

Hi MariVal,
even though the sea... and in fact seven of them is referred to, all I can see is stars and constellations of dreaming and desire, floating and intimate connection.
Wanderlust was my dream. I wanted to travel through Europe. I had a plan to go and play rugby league in England so I'd be close to every country I would have love to have visited... Spain always held my heart as if I lived had past lives there... but it was never to be, as a badly timed ban on international players in England thwarted my plans... and then life got in the way and my opportunity was lost... ah well!
See what you poems do to me? One second I'm reading away, absorbing, immersing myself within your words... next I'm off with the fairies in some distant memory of what could have been.
I think it was your last verse... there is such freedom and gay abandon within the image you so deftly painted with your words.
Beautiful composition, construction and presentation MariVal.
With our thoughts we create...
images where love dwells.
Warmest regards,
James.

Your soul shines like a million stars, no wonder you prefer the constellations.
It reminds me of a movie I recently watched on Netflix, called "Spaceman" starring Adam Sandler. Adam is the spaceman, who goes to the edge of our solar system on a mission to explore a mysterious purple cloud phenomenon. He misses his wife and he is very lonely which leads him to hallucinate about a giant spider that talks and offers wise advice. I recommend it.
my poem is about that intimate connection you mention. As always, you know exactly what I mean.
I dream about traveling across the world but unless I win the lottery, I don't think it's going to happen in this lifetime.
I wish you could have traveled through Europe to play rughy. I understand how you feel.
My daughter went to England and Paris on vacation, she loved it.
You would love Spain, the food, the wine, the flamenco dancers, the friendly people, the castles and cathedrals... so much to explore.
I am sorry my poem triggered some painful memories... or maybe they are good memories. I don't know. But I am happy you felt something, that is my aim when I write. I do want to paint pictures with my words, so I am happy you got that. I know you are a visual person too.
am happy you like the presentation, I spend a lot of time creating it. Many times, the presentation takes longer than the poem.
Amigos para siempre,
MariVal
Love lives in the heart and passionate yearning lives in the soul.

A lovely poem about the exuberance of love which crosses all the physical dimensions like the seas and lasts through all the seasons like the "reaping season."

This is a good theme, a strong poem, and beautiful presentation. The colorful imagery pops out at the readers visually and as the words flow so perfectly. Well done!
