Wow. Congratulations! You need to be celebrating not apologizing! Life happens and writing will always be waiting for us like an old friend, patiently and non-judgemental. Enjoy these hectic times and write about them after. Good luck!

Thank you so much, Marilyn! You've expressed this really nicely - writing does indeed wait for us "like an old friend". Much appreciated! :)

Outstanding! I'm so happy for you, Navada. What an accomplishment this was as well as an unexpected surprise for you.

I had indeed been wondering where you've been, but life has a way of doing that to us on occasion, and this sounds like an opportunity not to be missed. Good for you, and I hope you enjoy the experience immensely. Sounds like a very interesting role in an interesting play. Let us know from time to time how it's going. - Jim

Wowie zowie!! This is some seriously exciting news!! I'm so happy for you! You'll be happy-busy and relishing the fun and joy and personal fulfillment that only the theatre can provide. I'll be thinking of you and sending love. Good luck; break a leg.

Hello Navada,
congratulations on earning the lead role in the play. If I weren't so dreadfully afraid of speaking in public, I might consider getting involved in a play of some sort. I was approached a few times, but declined. I used to quote a few lines from some movies to the school secretary. She claimed that when I said _"I'm mad as hell, and I'm not going to take it anymore!", she would get chills, because I put so much feeling into it. It was a line from a movie called Network. I used to like to quote Humphry Bogart too. My favorite line was- "when I slap you, you'll take it and you'll like it." 100% Bogart, I loved it.
I don't know how you can possible do the lead in a play and still teach. The very thought makes me tired. I'm certain that you will do well though gal. I look forward to hearing how it's going.
Have a blessed day.
Tom

Congratulations on your successful audition for the leading role of Dr Mathilde von Zahnde. You will be extremely busy memorizing lines, rehearsing, and then performing. I wish you much success and hope you know we will be hear to welcome you when your time permits you to write. Thanks for the update.

Wow!!!
I am so excited for you. The female lead may seem daunting, but you will have fun. (I don't know from my own experience, but I was in the supportive Mom role when my son was chosen for the lead in school plays - not only his Senior year but also his Junior year. He was a fantastic tenor!)
Thank you for updating us. I did notice messages about your writing were missing from my inbox.
Good luck!!

I've wondered what happened to you and you have given us a good idea of what has happened in you life. I think it is exciting that you got the lead role. It is something a lot of us would have enjoyed doing. My last lead was in my high school production but I've always regretted not getting involved in little theater or something that involved acting because I one time it was somethingI really enjoyed. Have fun. We're glad you leaveing us. You're just too busy at the moment.

Thank you for the update - interestingly, it was only this morning I was thinking about you and wondering how you were. Well, you will be VERY busy with all those commitments. Kittens, lead role, other musical productions, teaching part-time ...! My daughter teaches part-time, theoretically, but she really works five days for three days' pay!
Looking forward to when you resume writing, but I will understand if you aren't as prolific! Congratulations on getting that lead role! Quite amazing!
Best wishes for everything you have going in your life!
Wendy

Thank you so very much, Wendy! Looking forward to catching up on your chapters - fortunately I have a long weekend this weekend, so hopefully I can get back to some reviewing. :)

I have put the first chapters into a book, and will gradually get to do the same for the others. Hope you can find it all. And thank you!

Make sure you videotape it. The part sounds delicious. I am jealous. I will live vicariously through you if you don't mind. I will send you my email. So when you get the chance I can peek in. Or, if there is any help I can possibly offer. Or, if you simply need to whine to someone. I see greying hair in a french twist, rather tightly wound, as she has no time for strays! In attitude if not in fact. You will be wonderful.

Thank you so much, Karen! Funnily enough, this is exactly how I visualise her, too. Not sure what the hair and make-up people have in mind yet, though. I will keep you updated! :)

Well done. Congratulations on your successful audition for the Physicists, was it. My wife was a language, and like perfuming arts, music etc. the arts, humanities always suffer, and yet without them, there's no culture. I played a principal role in the musical Two from Galilee, over three years, I was surprised at my appointment, I would have liked to do more, but apart from a cameo in Sound of music, I never really had time for anymore, but well done, beautifully written, blessings Roy
