It's so funny sometimes. Not that I consider myself a great writer, but posts I really think are good don't do anything. Then I'll write something silly and it'll be up there!

Hahaha the punchline totally caught me off guard! This was a great story as well as abecdarian poem. I was surprised at how naturally it read - it felt not so much like a poem, but rather, more like an excerpt from a novel. You should submit this into a story poem contest as well - I think it stands a great chance at winning!

This is great Abcedarian poem. I love the how the whole time Brian was expecting a phone call for his job, and you get the twist at the end. A lot of anxiousness and anticipation in a poem. I think we can all relate to that!
