I read all the in-between chapters I missed. I'm sorry I can't leave a review for each of them, as they are exciting and well written. I'm so sorry for the heartache your family has experienced, especially you. I'm glad you're writing again, and I pray God brings healing through it. I'll catch your new book as I'm able. I'm trying to read a few posts each day, around visits to my husband as his health and strength gradually improve. Blessings. Carol

I'm thrilled to hear that his health is improving. Take each day onse step at a time...Spring is coming and the weather will be good to get outside when he can. Thank you so much for your time...I know how hard it is to find a moment to spare. Stay strong, Carol. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Yes, I pushed him out in a courtyard for some warm air and sunshine recently, and then we had snow and cold the next few days. Hopefully spring will be here soon.

Thank you so much for your thoughts and prayers. I'm resting as I'm able. I was staying at the hospital about 5 hours a day, and I've cut back to 2-3 hours at rehab. I missed going out two days. Mitch suggested I take time off to rest, which I did, and it helped tremendously. Thanks again. Hugs!

I've been where you are and whether you think it is or not, it will creep up on both of you and take a serious toll. Take care and make sure you rest.

Thankfully, Mitch will be coming home on Saturday. He'll be using a wheelchair for a while, and still pursuing more therapy for healing and strength. Thanks for your prayers.

Oh, Carol, I am so happy and relieved to hear that Mitch is coming home. What a relief for both of you. I'll keep both of you in my thoughts and prayers for a speedy and wonderful recovery. Have a blessed day!

I'm glad that Sandra kept urging me to come back to FS. So many months I just stared at my keyboard...But when I started writing that story, it took over and I felt so much better. Thanks, Carol

I have thoroughly enjoyed every suspenseful chapter of this compelling and imaginative story. I hoped Isabella wouldn't die, but the fact that she did, made the story more realistic. I especially liked that her spirit spoke to Natasha. I also enjoyed the delicate and peaceful way Isabella was welcomed home by James and her loved ones. I felt completely satisfied by the ending of the story. Well done.

Thank you, Lorraine. So did I. It gave me peace if that makes any sense. I believe Isabella was happier in eternity than she was in her home.

You did it! You came up with the perfect ending, the real ending. Nat did learn to tell the truth once, but Ava continues to support Natasha's lying and she is a nasty girl once again. Her father's life was destroyed, and the family isn't as well off as they once were. Since Ava always seemed to be home, I presume she hasn't gotten a job to help her husband support what is left of his family.

I'm glad you enjoyed the ending. Some did, others felt Natasha should have been punished more. I never said in the book she wasn't, I left it open. But to me, Isabella was happy where she was.

What a wonderful ending you gave this story. It is sad when older family members are shunned for one reason or another. Often just plain ignorance and neglect.

In this case, it is probably for the best. Sad but true. Sometimes the pain is deep seeded for whatever reason and it needs time to heal. Hopefully, it does.

Yes, you certainly know how to tell a story and draw readers like me into the mix and make us feel like we are part of the story. It's always a pleasure to see what you come up with next. And of course, I've already read the first chapter of your next story. Thanks for sharing.

I liked this ending. I was curious if this was a based on some of the problems you were having. It seems it was. My prayers continue to go out to you.

"How - She rubbed her eyes. "Am I cracking up?" (How?")

. Maybe this had all been a terrible nightmare and she could make it all go away. (comma after 'and')

Natasha answered. "Agreed." (answered,)

thanks, Barbara. It's been a struggle...first to even start writing again and then to write about some painful events in my life. I'm feeling good regardless of my family outcome. I'm writing and that's what I love.
