Was he disappointed in his paintings, being he tossed his painting colors everywhere? He smiled and mentioned a name, was this a well-known artist, Picasso?

Art is in the eye of the beholder and we all have different tastes. I have always love Picasso, his diverse and unusual paintings portray his talent for detail. We can produce a masterpiece for ourselves, with our own paintings, but they may not make us millions, a fun post, love Dolly x x x

I thought you did an excellent job of sharing Tom's journey. I like how despite the critics of his art he doesn't give up. This is a wonderful 100 word story that shows that you have to keep moving forward. It's well written. I love how you ended it with a reference to Picasso who found beauty where it wasn't expect. Perfect.

Sounds more like a Jackson Pollock! Good story, but you have just revealed the big secret about how modern art is made. Lol! Good entry for the contest. Best of luck! Julie

Thanks for your review. I was actually tossing up between Pollock and Picasso. I might change before entries close.
