Very interesting short scene. It sounds like Mary offed herself, and now Death is there to claim her soul. I guess she's going to the southside.

I have just read this poem for the third time and must admit, I am speechless, open jawed, and have travelled into a dimension of airtight involvement, feeling in my heart, 100%, that I rank #1 on your list of readers to connect and admittedly identify as if this were a purposely presented message placed in front of my eyes, to realize I am not alone with the confusion and wonder living in my solitude. Seriously, I get it, and if this is a perfect shadow of your mind-snap, then Holy Crap, I freaking love you! I hope you don't mind but I plan to hop onto your profile and scroll through your portfolio. I have so many secret thunderstorms that invade my starry nights and writing brings peace to the anger above . It is hard to express such immense realization that consumes our thoughts to people readers that do not identify with battling invisible chaos smothering life's joy. Perfection! All I can say!
