Your terms "Demure white," "towering thunderheads," and "aromatic incense" are all strong descriptors. So is "sunset's grandiose gold."
In addition, poem tells about features one would discover under the sunset ranging from Antelope Valley and Topaz Lake to pronghorns and "jutting pine trees."
These contribute to help a reader better envision the "memory collected in Nature's soul."

I would suggest that every memory of the sunset resides in your soul and nature, rather than one of the other they reside simultaneously in both. The photograph is beautiful! I love mountain landscapes with the sun setting in the background.
