I think many of us can relate to your words. How often we create a piece of writing that receives few stars when we worked so hard? Excellent poem here for all of us poets who have been through this.

Hello Dennis,
I know the feeling of frustration. After so much work, you just know that you've turned out a great piece, only to have your ego shot down. Even if you're not a rookie, getting a less than stellar review is unpleasant to say the least. I spend more time than I should on this site reviewing, but I don't really care what an article pays, if it's good, I like to read it.
Thanks for sharing. Have a blessed evening.

Judgmental people aren't nice. Just be kind right? We all do our best and work hard to write these masterpieces. Excellent and clever writing for this contest. Best wishes!

I enjoyed reading this story in poem form! It's truly funny and a little sad at the same time.
I especially liked the line "He worked, wrote, sweated, deleted, repeated,"
Thank you for sharing this here, and best wishes to you.
