Oh this is profoundly touching! They knew a love many will never experience. Because of their circumstances, they wasted no time on frivolities, or didn't get busy with other things. They were just dedicated to one another. And I have no doubt they still are.

You're welcome Julie. It's a love story that i remind my adult children to hold on to when they are struggling in the marriage. I ask them to ask their spouse in the midst of strife and struggle the same question Jesus asked Peter three times: "Do you love me?" If the answer is yes, then hope is found.

Her father rushed and knelt in front of Carolyn, looked up at her and, with tears flooding his eyes, said, "Carolyn, we give you two our blessing and pray that whatever time you two have left, that it will be filled with tears, laughter and love.
This is a very touching scene and I almost plays like a movie in our mind and heart. Very poignant.

I say with my stories the names have been changed to protect the guilty. I'm about changing the name and doing a few more things that would make it fictitious that could be published but like me you're probably not in it for the money even though. Is a lot of money in writing.

If I had a six I would give it to you. This is a well-told tale of love that had a very short time to grow and blossom, but grow it did under the most difficult of circumstances. You did a wonderful job of bringing out their characters.
