Wow, this is a nail-biter of a chapter! And you left us hanging on the cliff also. Bobby seems to be a lunatic, hitting Dion's car like that. I can't imaging what Judy's experiencing, and Dion also. Exciting but dangerous chapter.

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY, CAROL
Appreciate the review. Bobby definitely was a lunatic and he's possibly destroyed some more lives. I am glad you are enjoying the spills and chills.

Deare me, that is a close call and still is. The man is drunk and completely out of his mind. What the heck does he think he's doing?
You write this so very well, Carol. I can't wait to reading on. Hugs, Ulla xcx

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY, ULLA
Yes, the road is about to get real rocky for Bobby and Dion. Hold your breath and hang on to your seat. Thanks for reading and reviewing.

I marveled at how well you described the Judy/Bobby scene with the beer and sandwiches and Judy's excuses. But the truck chase is phenomenal. It is so clear I felt like I was watching it play out on a screen. You really know how to rev up the action and end a chapter in suspense.

Thank you, Lorraine. You have no idea how terrified I was to write the chase scene. I'd never done anything like that before and I was so afraid it wouldn't come off realistically. So far, everyone seems to enjoy it. What a relief!!!

Wow, this story is really getting exciting. You make sure the reader, at least this reader, will read the next chapter. What an amazing story. I hope you intend to publish this.

I've always said I would like to self-publish if just so there is a copy collecting dust after I die, but I've never done it. Maybe this will be the one. Thanks again, April.

I CANNOT believe you're going to stop there, leaving me hanging off the edge of the road with the both of them!!
Very gripping writing! Excellent action and drama. Some good humor with the Velcro bra, too. :-)

Good morning, Julie. I am told that "cliff hangers" are my trademark, but this was my first car chase and I worried if I could make the suspense strong enough. I'm thrilled that it came across. (Oh, to be honest...I thought of you when I wrote about the bra. LOL)

Haha, I'm not sure that's a good thing but, thanks!

This is well described mayhem with Bobby not caring who he kills, just as long as he kills his daughter's friend. He obviously has alcohol induced insanity. If the world was fair, Dion and Judy would survive, but . . .

You did a great job describing the action and the emotion of these scenes. One of the best writings I've read on this site. Thank you for sharing it with us. I hope Bobby is the one injured this time.

Oh, wow. You've blown me away, Barbara. I was terrified I couldn't write the scene the way it should be and I am beyond grateful for your comments. Thank you so much....Wishes just might come true...LOL

Bobby sounds like the street kids around where I live these days. Shootings three or four days a week. Two men beaten unconscious right on Main St. one day apart by a group of teens. All he really needs is a good ol' fashioned country boy butt whooping. As I'm sure I've said before. LOL. Thanks for sharing.

Did my truck chase come across as realistic? It's the first I've written and it's definitely harder than on a tv or movie screen. Sounds like life's gotten crazy in your neighborhood too. I'm glad I'm in the country - far far away from the shootings. Bobby's about to find out who's really in charge of his life.
Thank you so much for being so kind to me. I appreciate the glitter. Smiles and hugs, Carol

Truck chase was great! I'm not just kind to you. You're a sweetheart of a person far as I can tell, who I enjoy reading and communicating with! :-)

Now I'm blushing.... too bad my family doesn't act like I am...unless they want money of course. LOL

OMG! He's going to kill Dion, and the drugs in his pick-up will be found, oh my goodness. I don't like what's coming on now! Is there another chapter? I'll have to check. Great writing again, my friend. :)) Sandra xx
