This is a good free verse about greed and an obsession with money. It sounds like the speaker just wants to have it to spend indiscriminately.
I think he/she needs to start thinking about spending the money on others too.

I don't think you are alone in this temptation of money and possessions. I'm reminded of the rich young ruler who couldn't part with his many possessions and that very night, his life was over. Sad commentary on his life.
