When I first starting writing for reviews, reviewers told me how I mixed my tenses, but then my specialty is poetry, and leaves little room for self indulgence, whereas prose writing leaves a little more room for time shifting, so as long as the reader is not confused that's fine. I remember desiring to see through the eyes of the critic, because that gives a clearer picture. Well done, blessings Roy

Now I personally haven't seen Encanto, but this fan fiction makes me want to watch the movie! Excellent work on the story and making me want to engage with the original plot!

It was a fun read if quite long! I'm not very familiar with the characters from this movie, but I enjoyed the dialogue all the same. They felt true to what I remember of the movie.
