I love sunflowers, their dark hearts and deep yellow /orange petals. (For some reason you chose a sunflower that has past its glory)
Anyways, I found your poem creative and it stood out from the rest.

Thank you for the nice review and the vote. I did have a nicer photo but that one had the big bumble bee right in the center. I'm now thinking it's hard to see unless you know it's there.

I did t enlarge the pic on my mobile so I thought it was just a small dark patch. 😕
Did you know that old sunflower plants stop moving and remain watching east because they reacts better to the morning light. 🌻

Thank you for reading and your nice review. My favorite writing genre is creative non-fiction but I've enjoyed trying to participate in the daily assignments. I enjoy trying things out of my comfort zone.

So I didn't get past the first line when my brain automatically took over singing, you are my sunshine my only sunshine etc. I had to stop that so that I could focus on your poem! I love all your rhymes. And nothing beats "happy face flower". Thanks for sharing! Julie
