Hello Gretchen,
Boy, nothing like have your balloon deflated. What an awful thing to be in love with someone and not being loved back. Miranda's life is pretty full right now, I'm sure she didn't need to know her neighbor is in love with her. This sounds just like real life gal. Well done. One small correction- its not money that is the root of all evil, but the LOVE of money. You're right, people will sell their souls to gain something that they can't keep. Scary.
Have a blessed evening.
Tom

Gretchen, this is a very well written chapter. You used great descriptive words and very good dialogue. I would not have wanted to be in Maranda's shoes when being asked about marriage.
I have a special favor to ask, if you can do it. Is there any way you can make the words some larger please? I love reading this, but the letters are really small. I wear my glasses, but sometimes it doesn't seem to help that much. If you can't I understand. Great job! love and blessings, Teri.

I post from my phone and can't make the font any bigger. I'm sorry. If I ever use a computer, I will post with a larger font. I make my books a large font but my phone doesn't cooperate. Thank you for this. Gretchen

Okay, Gretchen,

Have I forgotten an important part of this story? The two hundred grand? I'm unsure when that happened, or is this the reveal that Miranda has two hundred grand.

This chapter is full of surprises, with Aaron finally telling Miranda he's in love with her. That went well for now, but I'm guessing that's not over, at least in Aaron's eyes.

Great stuff! Best, JohnC

She got the reward in the first book. For locating the remains of Jason Toblerone. I'm not sure how Aaron will handle it. Thank you. Gretchen

Excellent story with good descriptions, authentic dialogue, and feelings humans would feel. I try to catch up with all the stories, like yours, that I enjoy here. Thank you for sharing this. Many writers will understand and relate to this. I enjoyed reviewing it.

Best wishes,

Alex

Not used to the profanity in your writing.

Seems Miranda has a fairly good handle on most situations.

Appears Aaron's profession of his feelings could throw a monkey wrench into this storyline.

Aaron is just looking for stability in his life. Miranda, as odd as that is, represents that to him. Thank you for this. Gretchen

This work has reached the exceptional level

Miranda has so much on her plate right now and then Aaron tells her he loves her. His timing could not be worse, but she did do a nice job of letting him down. She can't tell Waylon his dad is alive because it sounds as if he might get himself murdered soon anyway.

I love where your story is going. Great characters I can get close to. You are so good at writing and telling stories... the plot is moving along nicely.

Well done

Yeah, we just never know what's going through anyone's head, and then when we find out, many times we would just as soon not know. LOL. Thanks for sharing.

About 75 percent of the time you wish you didn't know. This was a great review. Gretchen

How interesting, I must admit I know what Aaron is going, I was attracted to older, opinionated, strong, level headed women, when I was a teen, they were able to guide, whereas the young girls tended to be froth and bubble, probably it was a Oedipus thing, Miranda needs to tell Waylon, but in a gentle unexpectant way, well done, Gretchen, bless
Just a note : money is not evil within itself, the scripture goes, "the love of Money is the root of all kinds of evil., so, it's the love, not the money.

Thank you, Roy. Aaron is in his mid yo late twenties. He sees Miranda as his savior. That is sad in itself. I appreciate the review. Gretchen

I never thought he would tell her. Mr Goody Two Shoes surprised me. And, I must have had a hiccup. Who are the Toblerons? Good writing. Have a good weekend. Karen

Toblerone was Missy's husband from last book. His remains were found by Miranda. All in Miranda Chronicles. Thank you for this. Gretchen
