Hi Bill,
I'm behind the times, so I hope Kathy is back home by now. Her roommate sounds domineering. I think Donnie Trump could use a woman like that on his team, and I'm sure the nurses were doing all they could to get her better so she could be released from hospital sooner rather than later.
Kathy has had a rough go of it these past 6 weeks. You, as well. Don't neglect yourself, buddy. But I know writing can be a stress reliever, and you've done a marvelous job keeping us in the know through your wife's illness.
Cheers,
Kimbob

You are funny, if your wife wants to express some authority, why not? Thank you for sharing and good luck with your writings and I hope she will be back home.

Some people have a natural gift for directing the work of others. It does no good to oppose or resent them, it is a gift they possess and know how to use it. You may not be able to learn how to use what they have developed. You must at least learn how to not get in their way.

In one of my 2,168 rehab vacations, I hated to leave my room. I had a roommate that would go through my dresser drawers and take my money and snacks. I'm glad I'm in a private room now!
Hope your wife makes it home safely and soundly and remember always to remind her of your love!

Get plenty of rest. She'll need your strength.

I think she would tire you out. While she is there ask her if there is anything you can get for her you do not have that would make things easier for her. Make sure you do not neglect yourself either sweetie pie.
Love to you and yours. Karen

I try to avoid eye contact for fear of lapidification.

Worried about turning into a fossil? I am thinking about writing a contest called" Let's kill Karen" you can kill me with kindness, roll me over with a steam roller, have me fighting with my support hose and tumbling down the stairs, but it must make me laugh.
I have mentioned it to others and they said they would be happy to kill me. Is that a bad thing? just posted it, you have 30days!!!

There are a lot of people like the lady you describe. She will make you appreciate you wife even more when you get her home. Just imagine yourself married to her.

It is hard to imagine her now. Kind of a bull in a tissue factory.

Glad that you have a staff which is really aiming to please the patients. Is the North Side the place they put patients who might sue them and they have to give them special treatment?

I hadn't considered that. I think they are just so packed, the presidential room was all that was left.

It sounds like your wife likes to be in charge of things and I admire her spirit as we often lose control of our lives when we are ill, a fun post Bill, love Dollyxx x x

Thank you, Dolly. I was speaking of her roommate, though Kathy might be a bit of a controller as well.
