Excellent

This is an excellent one line story for the contest
that many will relate to, though it relies a bit on the words in the picture
for a specific meaning.
But it also works even without the art work.

Thank you, Robert. You are absolutely right. I think I was more focused on the one line and not so much the story part. I revamped the poem somewhat in an attempt at damage control. Not sure I succeeded; we'll see. I appreciate your very constructive advice and your diplomatic way of telling me I missed the mark.
