Excellent! Love it! Very to the point and humorous. Love the cleverness of the poem, how much of a story you have managed to create with so few words, taking us through the events in sequence and even included the bunny dynamics with hippity hop. Great job - good luck with this one.
Best wishes

Ciao!.
Is this a shot at dark humour?
Seeing the picture I thought it was about a magician instead it's about cooking a rabbit. I would prefer the rabbit was hopping merrily in a field rather than than being cooked.
Have you ever seen the killer bunny in Monty Python ? Now that was funny. ( biggrin)

I'm giving 5 stars because this little rhyme is clever and funny.
Here is my limerick based on your little ditty!
There once was a magical bunny
Who feared his magician Sonny,
When Sonny opened a pot
and plopped bunny on top
He thought Dammit, I knew this smelt funny.

Thank you for the example. However, CEC already disqualified it as a Limerick entry. Perhaps, you could look at it as free verse and adjust your stars. I would appreciate it. If not, I understand. I'll just take it down.
All the best, Yard.

I changed it ! Thank you for the inspiration for my own! I hope you won't take it down. :)

So funny. I'm glad you were inspired. I really hope you win. Now that would be something!
Thank you for the extra star. I won't take it down.

Ha! I didn't enter it in the contest, only shared it hare (punny spelling intended) between us. I have a piece I really want to stay up on there for review, but then also accepted a challenge not thinking about it knocking that one down a notch on my portfolio... so, don't want to bury it further being goofy with limericks. (My grandfather Lee was a master at Limericks so we got lots of practice growing up... Fun to have a challenge !)

Oh that poor little bunny! I haven't had rabbit stew for many, may moons, and believe it or not, it made my mouth water just thinking of my mum's cooking, beautifully written, blessings Roy

This is a sad poem. We have a bunny in our family who is very active in a child's school day. I cannot imagine a bunny being eaten for a meal when it is your pet. Ouch!

I like bunnies so this was sad to me. Besides that, the syllable count is on spot and your poem has good flow and rhythm.
Best of luck on the contest.
Keep writing:)

This is so funny. I like the idea. It is so clever. That is surely a different way of having a bunny disappear. Picture matches words very good. Great job
