Going back and interviewing John Adams at a roadside diner in Jersey makes for a fun read from a great imagination. But what scares me is a talking apparition. LOL. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks, Ric. It's just my wild imagination at work. Wait till he meets Benny.

I thought this was very well-done and entertaining. I think it was close to a six-star worthy post. There were just a few little fixes, but I also wanted to point out that I liked it best when you cut the modern "French" words short before they are pronounced completely.
Little fixes:
"It was not my idea, and I have many regrets about that, but the outcome was in our favor latter. They should have dressed in their regular garments."
I think you mean 'later' and not 'latter.'

... I now a lot of people who think that too," I said.
I know a lot of people who think that, too," I said.

Anyway, wht weren't you consulted?"
Anyway, why weren't you consulted?"

I'm thoroughly enjoying this series! I really like the combination of more formal speech and intellectual ideas with the entertaining trucker mouth and attitudes! I picked up on a few typos that you might like to fix - john, Johhny, wht, attorning, si and wierdo. This is such a unique idea - looking forward to future installments! :)

This was exceedingly entertaining. If someone cuts off your hand, I think an expletive is warranted. But otherwise, there are millions of words you can use to say things. Using curse words is lazy and lowers intelligence, in my opinion. But, nonetheless, I enjoyed it. Karen

Well, Karen, I lived on the road for 33 years and I can tell you sometimes it's not pretty. I believe in writing the way it really is.

How you write is entirely up to you. I read it and I enjoyed it.
I get that language inherit of where you are and who you are with determines your vocabulary. I just wish everyone everywhere would be kinder. Pipe dream? :-) Karen

So you're a Canadian? Let me tell you, our founding fathers were anything but angels, that's for sure. Thanks for the nice review.

This was another delightful, trucker story that you have told us, and I enjoyed listening to it. It kept my attention the whole way through. I wish you the very best with all of your writing. Have a good day and God bless. Patricia.

As a history buff who loves satire this was a brilliant send up. People will ask the question of "What if..." but few can deliver it as polished and amusing as yours. The best part for me was explaining to a founding father modern slang. Great all around.
