Beetle Bailey was a cartoon I always read when I had accesss to a newspaper. I didn't know about the censorship. I can't imagine why a belly button would warrant a censor. You have been able to come up with so much information that I didn't know about this strip. I like Hagar the Horrible too.

Hi Brett, this is really interesting, and I'm learning. Now, just to make one thing clear. I've never been into comic strips nor cartoons. They just don't do anything.for me. But, I'm not surprised if they made it into the Scandinavian market. We've always been open minded, if I may phrase it like that. All best, Ulla:)))

I remember Hagar the Horrible. Good story-telling. Still waiting for the rest of the Unwanted Dog story. Hopefully, I will get back to writing. having fun with video editing. Have I shared my Youtubes of train trips, etc?
