Back in hospital.

Hurray, Bill! Did Kathy get home today? Oh, I hope so. She'll do so much better at home. Just keep her blindfolded until tomorrow after the kids help you put the finishing touches on the living room, bedroom, and bathrooms. Don't let her look under the bed!!! LOL.
You've done well, Bill. Don't let anyone say different.
Cheers,
Kimbob

I'm glad to hear your wife is better and will soon be home. I hope that will be the best for everyone. I'm sure she will be pleased to see that the house has been kept in good shap while she was away.

Hi Bill, I'm so glad that Kathy is coming home. Now the cleaning has started in serious, and that is good. Your wife will really appreciate that. There's still a lot laid out for the future with dialysis and so on. But one thing at a time. Ulla,:)))

So glad your wife will soon be home! Isn't amazing how everyone pitches in to see that the 'woman of the house' is met with a clean kitchen, clean sheets and pleasant bathroom. I am so pleased she is coming home and I wish both the best. ann

Be still. Progress is slow, but assured. The best news of all is that mama is coming home and she is in better shape than she was in when she left. Thank God she is still with you and still around for you to hug and kiss and spoil as much as she will allow. I am thrilled for you and your family.

This kind of puts the quote "The best things in life are free" into a different prospective! Good luck and best wishes to you and yours. Get your laundry and bedroom done. When she gets home, make sure all floor hazards are moved. Make sure the bed has fresh linen. And, have the fridge and cabinet stocked with her favorites. If she is to stay in bed for a while, get her one of those hospital moving trays/ desk. I got a used one, and I could not live without it. Also, get her a situp pillow. It is a big one that cradles your back so you can sit up without so much pain. Just my thoughts. Good luck and good wishes to you and yours. Karen

Comment from Gloria ....
So many changes, and by the sounds of it you went all out with decorating at Christmas. Good call with the cleaning lady and hopefully your VA insurance covers all the costs and will continue to into the future.
Thanks for sharing this, Bill. :)
