If he, the s.o.b., does the right thing, he could be the next V.P. for Italians
have of way of taking care of family members, and thus Antonio might was to see a priest for a matrimonial date.

Wow, oh no, what a surprise for a dad. Too late to do anything about the situation now. Keep your pants buckled and you won't be caught; you remember those words in your house?

That evidently wasn't the first time they had come together. I like the twist at the end. What a wonderfully written story. Good luck in the contest!
Have a great day, and God bless.

This is an excellent flash story for the contest.
It looks like bad news fro everyone.
Antonio is going to find out what it means to disrespect the Boss.
Great way to start a family.
Good luck in the contest.

Hmm, okay. I'm not sure what to make of this. I guess the Don, never wanted his daughter to mate. But the ending felt a bit abrupt. The daughter's declaration was just like... bam.
So the Don cures at the end. Then what? Not sure what's the resolution? Was the father already murdered, that fast? or Did the Don curse because now he shouldn't kill the father or has to stop it?
The 'story' is okay, but it feels incomplete. Yes, 80 words is very limiting.

This makes me want to hear the rest of the story. I could picture an old Italian gentleman sitting behind a desk summoning his daughter to him, and him then sending his cohort to "speak" to Antonio. I hope you continue this into a short story!
