Your ten well chosen, thought-provoking words have won the contest. Congratulations. There is a powerful message in each one of your four phrases. Your artwork, with the crown of a king, and an empty plucked flower holding equal weight, intensifies your message. Well done.

Jamison, congratulations! No wonder you won the contest. This is dang near brilliant. Now, don't go getting a big head and all, but I have noticed you are very good at writing these short, thought-provoking poems. Outstanding, Terry.

There's not much danger in me becoming overconfident, Terry. It's nice to have a winner every now and again, though.

Thanks for the encouragement. Take care. - Jamison

Wow, you chose your ten words well and weighed each of them for their meaning and their power to communicate an important message. Not one more word is needed. Well done!

I definitely think that those who seek power, without thinking about others are selling their own soul. This is a well written, thought provoking piece and I thought you did an excellent job of doing it in a few short words. A well written piece.

This must have been in a blind contest because I didn't get it in my mailbox. Glad I found it!

I see it won the contest, and rightly so. What can I say except that you have summed up the world's power-hungry and the resulting toll WE will pay so that they may reign. And in 10 words.

Once again, you've used your words wisely and your presentation is perfect.

Congratulations!

Hi Pam. Yeah, this was a blind contest. I often wonder how blind they really are, though.

This was an extremely effective use of ten words. My pick for that coveted number one spot. No earthly reward is worth the sacrifice of one's soul, but there are still many who do just that, and allow power to change them.

Power is indeed the great corrupter, and we see it in action every day. But I believe there is hope and forgiveness. I know you do, too.

Thanks, Jim. Take care. - Jamison

If there were no hope or forgiveness, I wouldn't be here!

Well, I can see why this won. It's fabulous. The one hundred percent accuracy in this was amazing. Power is more often than not, paid for with one's soul. It's a slippery slope as we trade what is right for what is wanted. Congratulations. Gretchen

Thank you so much, Gretchen. With all the power struggles currently in play, it will be miraculous if we survive. And at what cost...
