Well, I can't help but agree here! I used to watch the news avidly but, since we can do so little about the idiots in power it only brings out the worst in us. And as for medicos, we actually have a soap in the UK in which the doctors go on home visits and extend their surgery appointments by going off on tangents about other health issues. Pure and utter fantasy! And yet purporting to be realistic! Your excellent 100 word very effectively captures this dichotomy! Good luck! Debbie

It's always dangerous to get involved in politics no matter the choice you suffer anyway. Thank you for sharing and good luck with the contest and with your writings.

True, but what is worse is the garbage that is fed to us. Anyway, thank you for your review, Iza.

This is sad but true. I've watched the nightly news, or at least the day's major stories, for as long as I can remember. It remains a habit, but I don't enjoy a lot of the things I see and I've developed a very healthy dose of skepticism involving anything to do with American politics.

Oh, that is being ladylike, good on you. I just go nuts, saying: "Not this tripe again." I remember one ABC journo who stated something and brought up the other side of the story with "Meantime..." I liked him BTW congratulations on your deserving win

Thank you very much! You wouldn't think I was ladylike if you saw me yelling obscenities at the TV any time Trump appears. :)
