Following my hospitalization, I have covid and could not vote for this contest. Sorry! Hope you will continue to strive for that top spot! Congratulations for your entry.

A sweet short story about a little boy who wants to be loved. I love the way the little boy asks what he needs to do to be loved and they simply tell him and accept him.

A salient reminder here to a child to consider the feelings of others. The image is perfect, portraying the sort of confusion and sulk common in young children. And the gentle urging by Sherryl is very credible and effective. A neatly composed 100 word story which I enjoyed reading. Well done and good luck! Debbie

Like your story. When children are born, they love their parents. They are there to nurture them night and day. This boy did not find that out when he was an infant. The moral of your story is wonderful.

Excellent story line.
Kids do not know right from wrong, prejudice, racism, love etc.

They learn this from parents, guardians older siblings and from whomever surrounds them.

Just as Tom experienced.

Best of luck in the contest.

This is an interesting exploration of childhood living and learning. Some of our most important lessons in life happen at this age. Thanks for the share and good luck for the contest.

Well is well when it ends well, but first we must learn the lesson. And today's lesson is about forgiveness and love. Thank you for sharing and good luck with the contest.

This is an excellent entry for the hundred word contest.
Finding love can be most difficult, especially if one isn't supported
by a strong family bond.
Treat others as you would like to be treated yourself.
Well done.
Best wishes and good luck in the contest.
Robert

I like the message behind the story. It's cute. The children aren't speaking like children though, and the word "ya'll" feels awkward given the lack of context/setting development. It just overall lacks the childlike whimsy that's common among children fiction.
