This is a well done free verse that is very encouraging and is good advice to follow for a happy writing life. You are right the our writing is a gift from God and it is mainly between us and Him.

This is a credo we should all operate by. It's very easy as a writer to get sidetracked, disillusioned and frustrated and we should all just keep going no matter what. Thanks so much for sharing this! :)

Excellent lecture to yourself! I feel the same way, if I feel like writing, write. Doesn't matter if I'm writing something silly or will never get published, just write. I completely agree with you!
This actually reminded me of a song I haven't thought of since childhood, I don't remember most of it but this line came to mind "it doesn't matter if it's not good enough for anyone else to hear, just sing, sing a song." We'll just change that puppy to "write". :-)
