This is the kind of intro that one used to wish they saw more of on network television back in the marvelous days of black and white. It moves quickly and concisely. It gets to the point rather quickly and literally leaves you hanging there in midair. (Pun intended for effect.) I can safely say that you should write more of these. regards GK

I didn't know that doppelgangers were harbingers of bad luck. What an interesting flash fiction! And also, it's interesting that he wasn't a perfect doppelganger, but a future him. Nice choice for a "mirror image" contest!

Bad luck happened in this story as the pilot remembered the visions of his own life. A nosedive to the ground.

We want to think of what the day will bring when we look in the mirror each morning. We always are hoping for a good day! Good thing the mirror does not talk back to us, but in a way it does.

Wow, nice twist in the end. For a 150 word story you had intrigue and a nice twist. I really enjoyed your short story. Best of luck on the contest.

Great story! You covered a lot of ground in 150 words (and a lot of years). I can't even imagine how weird that would be to experience something like this, though I know people claim they have. Very creative and well written. Julie

I love the mystic, things that we've heard of, but never engaged ourselves, but somehow there is someone there with us, flying mission in war was a hazardous occupation, well done, blessings Roy
