This is nicely done. You hit the intended nature theme of Haiku nicely. I would put the ~ after the second line.
Why? I don't really know. I have just seen that the Poet Masters on this site seem to always do that with Haiku.

I can't tell you how good that sounds right now as I sit here miserable in a wintry mix of snow sleet and rain! Though the sunlight warming the soul is a metaphor, I think it's a real thing to!
I'm not sure if your intention is to have a picture there, but there isn't one showing up.
