Last night I watched a Hallmark movie. A city girl, Lily, was in the country and the hero, a country boy, Will can up to her. She said something about she didn't realize how noisy crickets were. Will slightly teased her, but mentioned they weren't crickets but frogs. Your poem reminded me of that scene. It was adorable as is your poem.

This was a very majestic poem. I love the sound of a cricket chirping. I used to listen to recordings of crickets to go to sleep. This was soothing poem. Thank you for sharing. Gretchen

A lovely busso poem! And I enjoyed how you made the sunset a concert complete with a stage with the growing light of the prima donna moon and the songs of the crickets and the dance of the winds!

I loved this one - beautiful in so many ways- lovely alliteration (where weaving winds) (flower-full moon)and a very creative phrase (over warm
tangerine hills).

The image is fantastic; it looks like a view from a ranch where the frogs and crickets chirp throughout the night. The soft summer breeze is tender to the skin but then you hear that chirping again. No more softness.

Just love your common sense approach to writing, you've worked out the language perfectly for the specialist short form Japanese poetry, and write it brilliantly, well done, blessings, Roy
Typo : (lightening) one lightens a load, but lightning strikes.

You've proven you're the Boss of the Busso! Such a melodious ringing of words and another set of wonderful images presented in the best possible colors and presentation. I am awestruck by the beauty of this work.

As a theatre lover, I could really relate! :) I really liked the differing senses evoked here, from "serenades" to "tangerine" to "lightening". With the reference to the "weaving winds" as well, there is a sense of warmth, action and fecundity lingering in these word choices. Lovely!
