I like the honest, personal voice here, the emotion underneath the language, coming through loud and clear. You articulated all this sense of doubt in yourself, and the helplessness we feel on our own, that forces us to turn to our faith in God for the answers, for the way forward. I think we all feel this way once in a while. The good thing is that God is there to help us through it. We just need to have faith and accept His help. That's the hard part as humans we like to it ourselves.

I'm sorry that you are feeling the effects of some cruel words. The remedy is to read God's Word and remember that you are so precious to Him that He left Heaven to make you His own child. I hope you have good and supportive Christian friends to talk with there.

I don't know who hurt you but hurt runs deep. My mom used to "Sticks and stones can break your bone but word can never hurt you." But that isn't true. Sometime words hurt even more. But you know God cares and can take away the hurt.
