Referring to Christ's bride is the Catholic Church referring to posulates; women becoming nuns. Yes, we are all His children and He died for us. He could have said no to this death, he didn't have to die to mortality. I don't see men and women being called Christ's bride.

Thank You for Aussie for response. I am an Aussie too
Not quite sure what you are saying about the Catholic Church and brides. For me, when I wrote the poem, I imagined all men and women who acknowledge Christ as Saviour and Lord, as being, in a way, as minute specks hidden in and safe within the enormous body of Christ. In scripture we read in marriage woman and man become one flesh. Sadly divorce tears them apart.

Simply put; Brides of Christ are women who have given their lives up to be Nuns. That is why they wear a wedding ring. K xx

Simply put; there was a big movie called 'Brides of Christ' a story about postulates at an Abbey, learning to work towards being Nuns.

Amen, Graham! The world is a scary tumultuous place unless you are a Christian with Faith. Then you know you are covered in the blood.
Very nice piece of God praising here.

Dear Douglas
Thankyou for comment
In Him we live and move and have our being. Imagine yourself as a tiny speck hidden somewhere in the enormous body of Christ with all who have ever accepted Christ as Saviour and Lord. There is room for all

This is a simple and meaningful delivery of the ultimate message of God's love for all humanity. I like your use of rhyme and metre to express this message.

Thank You Nevada
I feel the events occurring now in Israel and Gaza are the beginning of the end as we know it. What man desperately needs to see, is that since Christ came, even though Jews are special in God's eyes from the beginning of time, they will come to know Christ is God's Son and truly believe that even though they may not all see that as yet. The wonder is though that even the Gentiles, when they accept Christ as Saviour and Lord, will know they are truly adopted into God's kingdom forever.

This is certainly an excellent and needed message for our very lost world. To be Christ's Bride is such beautiful imagery. I think it is very well done how you juxtaposed bride with what we deserve... Death. Blessings to you. Julie
