Thanks for letting me know this way. I will definitely be praying for her.
I haven't been on Fanstory hardly at all since losing the Christmas Story contest without so much as an honorable mention. Sad, eh? You'd think I could handle defeat after all the defeats I've had. But my muse vacated the premises very quickly after that. I haven't seen him at all. He's on a lounger on some tropical beach, white sand and a fruity drink. I don't know where he gets the money!
Poor Judi. Did she break any bones, or is it muscle tear? We don't have any snow here, and very little ice. There are a couple of spots I have to watch out for on the Grand Bay Trail, but really, it's been so great to be able to walk the trail this time of year. I've got 17 miles in already.
I enjoyed this new form, the Scallop! (I love sauteed scallops!!!)
I must try it.
I did notice one line has 5 syllables instead of six...
"leave us stressed and flat" ... 5
(You could add "so",
leave us so stressed and flat)
Do you know Judi's address? I'd be happy to send her a "Get Well" card. For now, though, I could send her that Seinfeld song. Elaine and her co-workers made it up.
"Get Well,
Get Well Soon,
We want you to get well!"
A fall is no laughing matter, but we do want Judi back at Fanstory ASAP!

Kimbob! Glad you're okay. Was going to email you because you got Sally and me worried because of your absence. Anyway, the good news is that Judi said she didn't break any bones. But it must have been pretty hard a fall because I haven't heard from her since. I can give you her address but it's pretty expensive to send mail from Canada. Great job with your walking! What a terrible way to spend the holidays. I hope Judiverse is on the mend and will be back to normal soon. Seems like we've a sudden rash of illness and accidents around here. I hope everyone can put the bad times behind in the New Year. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you, Jose! She didn't break anything but I think she's 81 so it's not easy to recover from a fall at that age. Hugs!
