What a wonderful haiku, Gypsy. The picture included the part that I think is important-you. The part of the haiku that is of importance to me, is that the important part is of your mother's on the anniversary of death with sugar plum blossoms. Blessed Be n Hugs!!!

Hi Gypsy, your poem is most heartfelt. With the exception of a child, the loss of a mother is most difficult, especially if a person is a young girl as you were. Your poem if beautifully presented. I love the plum blossoms.

Plum blossoms are gorgeous. I've never thought of them at a gravesite, but why not. They'd be perfect. Thank you for sharing this poem and presentation with us. You're talent is amazing.

That's a lovely post regarding your mom's graveside plot. Again, the image is gorgeous. I know how you feel when you visit your mom. I wish plum blossoms would touch my shoulder, but instead, my mom is buried by a son and husband.

Plum and cherry blossoms are very similar. The picture is titled plum blossoms.

Having lost both my parents at different times of the year, I can resonate with this. The seasons and other triggers can make us aware of things in our lives that either grieve us or bring us joy. Thanks for the share.

That's sweet that the "plum blossoms touch" the narrator's shoulder as if it's her mom's spirit letting her know she's there for her in spirit. Plum blossoms usually symbolize non-physical beauty such as in character.
