This is a fun story with some really corny jokes from Shorty. The ladies don't seem to be really angry at them for picking the wrong beauty queen, and everyone seems to enjoy learning to dance.

This is a very well written script. I had no problem visualizing the action as it was described. I do have to say though the jokes were really groaners, but you are forgiven as I enjoyed the story pretty much.

This is my first time reading and reviewing a script. I enjoyed the story, even with the corny jokes. I always thought it was hard to write scripts and screenplays; you make it seem easy to do. The story about learning the waltz is a good one for young adults.
I found no errors.

What a fun script! This was an absolute delight to read with plenty of humorous puns ( like the feet running in the family, the stirrup on the pancakes, the 'waltz' of the barn) You were on fire here! Excellent! I look forward to reading more. Take care Debbie

I love it, the puns were delightful and very well done. Feeding his horse pancakes with "stirrup" on them. Great humor, and I enjoyed it. Keep 'em coming'.

Thank you for your super review. December events have slowed me down a bit, but 2024 may prove more inspirational on these.

I am delighted to see John Shane and Shorty make another appearance. They always make me laugh and this is no exception. You have a knack for puns and your characters liven up the stage-if only in my mind. I hope you find someone to perform these scripts some day. They would be fun to watch.

Thank you for your great review. I research puns all the time and then try to make them original for the situation. I really hope I can find someone who likes corny western humor, too, for performance purposes.

This is very funny and entertaining. I enjoyed all the puns and quips scattered throughout. It was the horse picture you are using that drew me in. Excellent choice!

Thank you for your super review. I tried frying a cookie like a pancake last night, but it didn't work out.

Your use of allusion will draw the reader in. The setting shapesm the characters and the characters create the entertainment. This is an aside but reading this description made me think of how embarrassed the nuns were when we asked if they had feet: "(Modestly holds skirt up about six inches to show foot in new shoe.)" I enjoyed your play on words. Good work

Thank you so much for your personal and detailed review. Everyone in smaller towns in Idaho, Utah, etc. in the 19th Century seemed more modest overall. That is a funny question, to ask nuns if they had feet. Thanks again for reviewing!

What a cute ending. I think the waltz is an easy dance to demonstrate. Like any other dancing, you must be graceful on your feet. Like your script.
