I love the message you are spreading here. Our actions should be fueled by love, understanding, and patience.
If only people would follow half of the points you mention, the world would be already a happier place.
We would have a better relationship with our neighbours, our co/workers, and with others in our community.
Instead, life has become a nightmare there is so much hate.
The Holy Land where baby Jesus was born is drenched in innocent blood.
It's pure madness.

You have done a good job in covering the spirit of Christmas, Darla. You have the correct number of syllables in every line except line fifteen. The soft and hard beats need a little work, but this is a good effort.
