What a wonderfully written poem. It feels warm, cheerful and is a delight to read. Based on my level of poetry expertise - which is I know if I like it and that's it - this poem is really super. ann

A cute poem to cheer Sandra. I hope she feels the prayers of her FS friends. The squirrels are fun critters to watch, though they can be demanding also. Have a blessed Christmas. Carol

Hi Dawn, I know Sandra would be laughing if she could for her oxygen mask. We all want her to make a speedy recovery.
You've written a wonderful and funny poem for her. Ulla xcx

Hahahahaha! I am very familiar with the pesky nature of hungry squirrels. Bird feeders are at their mercy, and they have caused some very costly auto repairs! Evi

PS - I am not familiar with the situation but send well wishes and condolences for Sandra. Evi

I was already praying for Sandra's loss of her brother, but I have added this illness. I am positive she'll laugh as she reads this prayer. I laughed. I agree, laughter is the best medicine. Thank you for sharing it with us.

A very entertaining and well written poem I know Sandra will enjoy. I like that squirrels were on the church steeple. Now, get out there and feed those little guys. lol.

Hi Dawn,
This is a cute poem that should cheer Sandy up. We all hope she will get out of bed soon. It seems the birds and squirrels miss her too. Squirrels are a lot more trouble than birds and can cause a lot more damage to your house. It would be interesting to hear what they sound like singing Christmas carols.
Keep writing and stay healthy
Merry Christmas.
Joan

I love this rollicking, rhyming remedy that you are sending Sandra. I know it will cheer her up, because it sure amused me :). Well done, Dawn, and thank you for caring enough to pen this lovely poem.

You do these verses so well and ambitiously with often exquisite rhyming words (never deterred, I envy you:)) A very sweet Christmassy tale with that adorable creature! And I too would like to wish Sandra a speedy recovery for Christmas. She's been through so much. And a Merry Christmas to you too, Deborah! Debbie x
