This is a sensuous poem. The picture fits the poem well.
Dostoevsky also made fruit reference to such a sultry femme fatale as in his Brothers Karamazov, the main female character was named "Grushenka" which kind of sounds like "juicy, little pear."

I never heard of Dostoevsky's Brothers Karamazov, but sounds familiar. I like the 'juicy little pear' great imagery and personification. A lot of people think of food as it relates to passionate love. Even among people in general. I spain, people say concerning a baby, "estas tan rico como para comerte" (you are so delicious I could eat you) and give a little gentle bite. I tried to do it with my grandson but my daughter thought it was weird. LoL A lot is lost in translation. It's the same with Japanese poetry.
