A pertinent and important message conveyed excellently in your free verse. Your language choice is superb and you write with seriousness and sensitivity. Well done!

Thank you ... much appreciate !
Comment from Janis M.
You will have to help explain this one to me. I love science but I never studied climate change or environmental science.
Despite being a bit ignorant to the overall meaning here, I do appreciate the many different metaphors and visual depictions.
It still reads pretty smooth.

A good review on it worth a read ... explains everything!

I does seem to me that people are blaming the climate change phenomenon for all manner of problems, but in the process they've created another religion, as if we need another one. Beautifully written, and wisely penned, well done, blessings Roy

Most welcome

We find an excuse and blame everything on it. Things we do not understand seem to make us want to resolve the problem and in the process we search for a reason. I enjoyed your fine analysis of climate change and your conclusion too, love Dolly x x x

Excellent here's to low cut tops and frayed shorts lol !
Comment from Amanda marchuk
In this poem, the author reflects on the current state of weather, specifically how constant rain and clouds have impacted the hopes and dreams of scientists and individuals alike. The poem suggests that this weather pattern has negatively affected a potential market opportunity, increasing by only seven percent instead of the desired ten percent. The author poses the question of who is responsible for this situation,
The poem juxtaposes the desires of individuals, who long for warm weather and leisurely clothing, with the reality of climate change. The author points out the irony of wanting low-cut tops and frayed shorts while attributing the weather conditions solely to a change in the climate. This emphasizes the disconnect between personal desires and the larger issue of climate change.
The anticipation for the coming year is met with a shift in weather patterns, as the poem suggests there will be drought, sunshine, and ice cream. The tone suggests a sense of optimism and a desire to enjoy life's simple pleasures, despite the struggles faced by the man mentioned earlier.
As the poem progresses, there is a longing for a Mediterranean summer, symbolizing warmth and love. The author continues to emphasize the desire for the idealized weather and lifestyle, again attributing any disruptions to climate change.
Overall, the poem explores the tension between personal desires and the reality of climate change. It reflects on the impact of weather patterns on various aspects of life, from economic markets to personal happiness. The tone remains professional throughout, making the reader consider the themes presented in a thoughtful and reflective manner.
Loved it!
