Yes, sometimes courts of law can be unjust, and officers may abuse their power in their favor, which is a sad but true reality in today's world. "You're guilty until proven innocent in a court of law" was placed in the Constitution to protect the people, but nowadays, it seems to backfire easily.

True dat, Doc! Your rights start to get into a grey area during a traffic stop.they can hold/detain you yet you are technically not under arrest but are not allowed to leave.

Then the searches are hinky. Terry Frisk for safety. They are allowed to search for weapons only, but if they find drugs or anything else they can arrest you for it.

Interesting. Nobody is really free, most of us just don't know it yet.
