This is an excellent poem, It might take a couple of goes to read it to truly get the meaning. It then hits you and opens the reader's eyes. I enjoyed it and learned something from it; a sign of good writing.

Needs Improvement

Introspection is certainly a valid aspect of poetry, but it needs to be externalized. Rhyme may rhyme with crime but it does not cognate. I did not find a cue as to how they related in the poem.

I like this one. It reminds me of something I wrote in similar fashion. Perception is the minds lubrication to slip in the truth without offending the conscience. I especially love free verse as well!
