A wonderful piece reminding people to be grateful for the things they have in life because they cost a price. We should be more grateful and kind because of it.

This poem, The Ghost of Christmas, sends the readers back to the child's first welcoming to the bleak and violent nation that will be the beginning of the new world.

... well all things are determined so we can only sit and watch unless we are involved in it ... God is divine and it's his world ... we are but servants like Joan of Arc !

A fine nativity scene for Christmas and a reminder of what Christmas is all about as we are tempted by the retailers to spend, spend, spend. Much enjoyed, love Dolly x x x

I love your poem, especially since it's the holiday season right now! As the wise men travel for miles, with the stars guiding them, the savior of our world was born in a grass manger. I love your message that Jesus is the reason for the season. Happy holidays!

No problem.

Well, Mr. Pen (ha!) that lays it out pretty good. I liked the string start and the very strong ending.
This is the real reason for the season! Very well done.
Merry Christmas!

All the best for the season my friend BP !

I liked your presentation of the story and the final stanza explains the reason for everything else that precedes it. This is the true meaning of Christmas - the fact that, low-born and high-born alike, Jesus came for us.

I believe so ... with anyone it is a fifty-fifty situation and with our beloved Jew of scripture we love them as Christians because of their election !
