nice passion-filled tanka
one thing i noticed... you have aflame and flaming so close together - maybe burning instead of flaming? (or another synonym)? just a thought ;)

Ah, love in the morning light. Those were the days. Now it's coffee, and chores. This was a wonderfully passionate poem. Much like the pastel colored fingers of the sunrise that caress the sky, the morning means more passion to this couple. Gretchen

You're the poet of passion! I like how you progressed from the heat of the skin as the passionate lovers express their love and then the comparison to the morning sun takes it to the highest level.
